For Jodi Douglas, real estate is about relationships. “I really enjoying helping my clients find their perfect home. It’s about getting to know them and understanding what they need, what they want, and what they love, and matching them to the home that fits all three.”

A Personal Experience

Jodi’s family has moved a lot. Eight different times, in fact. She has lived all over the country, from east to west and in between, although she has called the Ann Arbor area home for the last eight years. So she understands the process of moving better than anyone. She knows that it’s more about the move, it’s a transition that is at the same time exciting and stressful. “Living in the different places has given me a different perspective and understanding,” she says. That’s why Jodi takes the time to listen to how her clients are feeling and does everything she can to make the process comfortable and successful.

The Value of Education

As the director of continuing medical education for the University of Pennsylvania Health System, Jodi helped support healthcare professionals with their career goals to maximize their learning and potential. She took the time to listen to their needs and helped match them with the right opportunities. And she intimately understands the medical and educational communities. She is currently continuing her own education in a masters program in management, leadership and strategy.

It’s the combination of personal and professional experience that makes Jodi’s approach to real estate so helpful to her clients.
